Kindly provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment or 48 hours notice for group/multiple services cancelations. In the event a cancelation is necessary half the service price will be charged to the card on file. A service canceled upon arrival will be charged in full.
Clients who fail to show for appointments or cancel with less than 1 hour notice, may be asked to pre-pay for future services. There may be a 50% charge of service cost.
When To Arrive
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your reservation to allow time for checking in, using the restroom, filling out medical history forms and getting settled. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are currently using a curbside waiting room. Please text us upon arrival to ensure everything has been sanitized prior to entry. All staff and clientele will need a mask.
Late Arrival Policy
In order to remain on schedule for all our clients, we may shorten your service time if you are late for your appointment. The service price will be charged in full. Late clients can derail the rest of staff bookings for the day, but we offer a grace period (anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes), anything later may require rescheduling and a late-cancellation fee. Clients may have to accept a shortened service to keep the rest of the day on schedule. This policy keeps the day running smoothly and ensures everyone is respectful of other clients’ and our staff’s time.
Clients who don’t simply show up late, but call ahead to notify the salon of their unintentional tardiness, we will accommodate her another day free of charge if we can’t fit them in the same day at a different time, if needed.
Service animals are required to wear a vest, ID tag, or specific harness. No animals other than service animals are allowed due to the Health Department rules and regulations.
Due to liability, safety and comfort to our guests, minor children (17 years and under) are not permitted in the spa area or treatment rooms. The only exception would be if the minor guest is scheduled for a salon or spa service with the paperwork filled out by the guardian or parent.
No cash refunds are given on gift certificates and they expire one year from purchase. We do have a few that rent their space and are independent of Boardwalk. They can not accept Boardwalk gift cards.
Payments, Gratuity and Refunds
In order to collect no-show and late cancellation fees, we must have your credit card information on file. We do require credit card information to book an appointment and this information can be used for quicker check-outs in the future, as well as to cover any future fees, per our Policies & Procedures. You may pay a different way if you choose upon check out.All service prices are subject to additional charges at the discretion of the service provider. Guest satisfaction is our priority. We guarantee our services with the usage of professional products purchased from Boardwalk Salon & Med Spa. Should any problems arise, please notify us within one (1) week of service date and your team member that did your service will gladly adjust. We will gladly correct any concerns as refunds will not be given.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Cash or local personal checks. Please be aware we have a $30 return check fee.
Prices do not reflect gratuities. We apologize for any inconvenience but tips cannot be added to credit cards for all staff members.
Most spa services require the removal of all jewelry and some clothing. Boardwalk Salon & Med-Spa will not be responsible for lost or damaged items.
